Nordmann partnering with new Albemarle subsidiary Ketjen
Earlier this year, Albemarle’s Catalyst and Performance Chemicals Solutions division transitioned from being a company department to a wholly-owned subsidiary known as Ketjen. Ketjen is now entirely dedicated to the development and manufacture of curatives, organometallics and catalyst solutions.

New partnership with Cromogenia Units
International chemical distributor Nordmann and Cromogenia Units have been working together since last year in the field of polycarbonate diols (PCDL), water-based binders (polyurethane dispersions & acrylate emulsions) and hydrophilic HDI-based polyisocyanates in the DACH region. The products are used in the polyurethane and color coatings industry. The focus of the cooperation is on sustainable raw materials.

Nordmann is expanding its partnership with Kraton Corporation in the field of pine-based resin products. As of now, Nordmann distributes Kraton's portfolio of pine chemicals and specialty resins for applications in the paint, coatings and adhesives industry in a wide number of European countries*.

Nordmann partner Kraton invests in Panama City, USA
Kraton Corporation, a leading global sustainable producer of specialty polymers and high-value biobased products derived from pine wood pulping by-products, has completed a $35 million investment to upgrade its crude tall oil (CTO) biorefinery towers in its Panama City, Florida manufacturing facility. The new infrastructure was completed in November 2023 with the highest safety and quality standards, for continued service to our customers.

High-performance wetting and dispersing agents
Nordmann partner Nouryon’s wetting and dispersing agents ensure excellent dispersion, wetting and stabilization of pigments (organic, inorganic and carbon black pigments) and dyes. They are designed to be used in various sectors, primarily paint and coatings applications. Nordmann distributes these Nouryon products in both Germany and Switzerland.
